We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide diabetic management and daily insulin administration for a patient in Emerson, NJ. The RN will be responsible for monitoring blood glucose levels, administering insulin as prescribed, and educating the patient on diabetes management.
**Responsibilities:**
* Perform daily blood glucose monitoring and record results.
* Administer insulin injections at 10:00 AM per physician’s orders.
* Monitor for signs of hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia and take appropriate action.
* Educate the patient and/or caregivers on diabetes management, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
* Assess and document the patient’s response to insulin therapy.
* Ensure proper storage and handling of insulin and diabetic supplies.
* Communicate with healthcare providers regarding any changes in the patient’s condition.
**Requirements:**
* Active RN license in New Jersey.
* Experience in diabetic care and insulin administration.
* Strong assessment and patient education skills.
* Ability to work independently and adhere to a consistent daily schedule.
