We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide daily insulin administration and support for a diabetic patient in Emerson, NJ. The LPN will monitor blood glucose levels, administer insulin, and ensure the patient follows proper diabetic care guidelines.
**Responsibilities:**
* Check and document blood glucose levels daily.
* Administer insulin injections at 10:00 AM as prescribed.
* Monitor for symptoms of low or high blood sugar and notify the RN or physician as needed.
* Reinforce patient education on diet, medication compliance, and lifestyle choices.
* Maintain accurate medication administration records.
* Follow proper infection control procedures during injections.
* Report any concerns or changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising RN or physician.
**Requirements:**
* Active LPN license in New Jersey.
* Experience with diabetic care and insulin administration.
* Strong observation and documentation skills.
* Reliable and punctual to ensure timely daily insulin administration.
