π Description: We are currently looking for a Full Time Nursing Services Coordinator to join our Clinical Education and Compliance Executive team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.
**Summary:**
Performs a variety of functions to oversee the nursing department onboarding process, assist with recruitment and retention processes, track and maintain employee files, employee competencies, Joint Commission files, The Nursing Services Coordinator provides administrative support to the Nursing Administration office.
**Responsibilities:**
* Coordinates the nursing policy and procedure process, works closely with managers, educators, and directors to ensure reviews and updates and completed in a timely manner
* Assists with minutes, notifications, and tracking of the Nursing PEER review committee
* Assists in maintaining nursing job descriptions
* Enters workflows and requisitions as needed
* Performs audits with individual departments to ensure compliance with Joint Commission files
* Assists the Executive Assistant to Clinical Education and Compliance
* Discloses relevant information that could reasonably be expected to influence intended usersβ understanding of any reports, comments, and/or recommendations presented
* Recognizes and communicates professional limitations or other constraints that would preclude responsible judgment or successful performance of an activity
* Refuses any gift, favor, or hospitality that would influence or would appear to influence oneβs actions
* Refrains from engaging in any activity that would prejudice the ability to carry out oneβs duties in an ethical manner
* Avoids actual or apparent conflicts of interest and advises all appropriate parties of any potential conflict
* Ensures appropriate employment records and systems including job requisitions, application forms, resumes are maintained
* Develops recommendations in support of successful retention of qualified and competent employees
* Assists with facilitating the review of NLD contracts and Clinical Rotation Agreements
* Scans documents into software
* Performs general clerical/administrative support to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing documents, filing, receive, distribution of departmental and company e\\-mails, prepare and distribute mail, composition and preparation of routine correspondence, drafts narratives, financial, and statistical reports and presentations using computer software applications based on the needs of the department and/or facility
* Prepares reports as needed or requested
* Maintains accurate purchase card reporting
* Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
