š Description: ### **Position Overview:**
The ADON supports the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing and supervising the nursing department, ensuring quality resident care, compliance with state/federal regulations, and effective staff development. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast\\-paced environment and is passionate about driving excellence in long\\-term and post\\-acute care.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist the DON in planning, developing, and directing nursing services.
* Supervise nursing staff and ensure consistent, high\\-quality resident care.
* Monitor infection control practices, quality measures, and resident outcomes.
* Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
* Provide education, training, and mentorship to nursing staff.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident experience and clinical outcomes.
* Participate in staff scheduling, evaluations, and performance improvement initiatives.
### **Qualifications:**
* Current RN license in Maryland, in good standing.
* Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in long\\-term care or post\\-acute setting preferred.
* Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations (CMS, DOH, etc.).
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
* Compassionate and dedicated to resident\\-centered care.
