We are seeking a compassionate and skilled **Registered Nurse (RN)** to provide high\\-quality medical and psychiatric care to individuals in our mental health and/or substance abuse treatment facility. The RN will be responsible for monitoring client health, administering medications, collaborating with the treatment team, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for recovery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct nursing care, including health assessments, medication administration, and monitoring of client conditions.
* Conduct initial and ongoing medical assessments to identify health concerns and coordinate treatment plans.
* Monitor withdrawal symptoms and provide appropriate interventions for clients in detoxification programs (if applicable).
* Educate clients and families about medications, treatment plans, and overall health and wellness.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies, providing appropriate care and intervention.
* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
* Ensure infection control procedures and facility safety standards are followed.
* Support a trauma\\-informed, patient\\-centered approach to care.
**Qualifications:**
* Current and valid **RN license in the State of Ohio** (required).
* Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
* Experience in mental health, substance abuse, or behavioral health settings preferred.
* Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and medication management skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team\\-oriented, fast\\-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
* CPR and First Aid certification.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Prior experience in detoxification, psychiatric nursing, or residential treatment settings.
* Knowledge of state and federal regulations for behavioral health treatment.
