The **CLARENDALE SIX CORNER** S is recruiting for Assistant Director of Health Services. This role functions as the Director of all nursing functions within the community and is responsible for planning, organizing and developing all nursing service operations with the goal of delivering the highest degree of quality care for the communityโ€™s residents.



**Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:**Assist in supervising direct nursing care in community


Supervises nursing personnel on all shifts. Participants in staffing, scheduling, counseling,


orientation, Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated.


Makes routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment.


Assures accuracy and completeness of medical records, including but not limited to care plans,


asses coordinates, conducts, and documents, resident care plans and conference in conjunction with


or in the response to emergency calls as necessary.





Functions as the Director of Health Services in his/her absence. Participants in family/resident


counseling.


Coordinates with Move\\-in Coordinator to ensure all regulatory documents are present prior to


admission Assures timeliness of physician visits.


Accompanies physicians when making rounds.


Notifies physician and family of changes in resident's condition.


Encourages rehabilitative techniques in order to restore residents' independence. Assures proper


functioning of medical equipment and adequate medical supplies. Assists DOHS in developing and


implementing policies and procedures.


Assists in infection control, safety and pharmacy rounds and audits. Attends in\\-service training


and education sessions, s assigned.


Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

**Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:**

* Minimum two (2\\) years experience in Nursing. Experience in assisted living, memory care preferred
* Licensed as a Registered or Licensed Nurse in state of employment.

Current CPR certification.


Senior Care experience with a good understanding of regulations.


Staffing/Scheduling experience is preferred.


Supervisory experience is preferred
