📝 Description: We are currently accepting applications for a Unit QA / Infection Control RN within our long\\-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. **Qualifications:**
* An active, Registered Nurse.
* Experience with the elderly population is preferred but not a requirement.
* Experience in Infection Control preferred
* A drug screen and background check will be required.
* Great attendance is required.
* Must be very organized due to the extensive amount of paperwork.
* Must be a self\\-starter and very motivated.
* Must have several years of Nursing experience.
**Essential Job Functions:**
* This nurse will keep track of all infections and antibiotic use, including antibiotic stewardship.
* To act as a liaison and representative of the residents and staff with the infections and medical needs.
* This position will require someone who will be flexible with shifts and/or hours.
* Must have the resident’s best interest in mind at all times and abide by the federal and state regulations.
* Be a part of the Quality Assurance team.
