**Responsibilities**
* Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
* Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
* Assist in achieving departmental targets and contribute to team success.
* Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
* Educate patients and families on health management and post\\-discharge care.
* Engage in performance evaluations and set personal goals for improvement.
* Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols in patient care.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
* Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate patient information.

**Experience/Qualifications**
* Current RN license in Kansas or compact state for nursing practice.
* Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and personal accountability.
* Experience in MedSurg nursing with a focus on patient\\-centered care.

* Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in patient care.
