**Responsibilities**
* Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.
* Assist in surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
* Monitor patients' vital signs during and after surgery.
* Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
* Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.
* Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff for optimal outcomes.
* Evaluate and implement best practices in patient care.
* Contribute to achieving departmental targets and metrics.
* Stay updated on advancements in cardiovascular nursing practices.
* Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.
* Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
**Experience/Qualifications**
* Current RN license in Texas with BLS and ACLS certifications.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiovascular operating room settings.
* Demonstrated ability to monitor and respond to patient vital signs.
* Willingness to engage in performance reviews and set goals.
* Strong understanding of sterile techniques and safety protocols.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons and medical staff.
* Proven track record of effective communication with patients and families.
* Experience in documenting patient care activities accurately.
* Knowledge of advancements in cardiovascular nursing practices.
