JOB DUTIES \\& RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Functions
* Organize and assign all jobs to be done during a tour of duty so that the workload is evenly distributed among nursing personnel based on staff qualifications, the size of the facility, and its physical layout.
* Periodically review department policies, procedures, and job descriptions and make recommendations for revisions.
* Implement established policies and procedures.
* Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
* Meet with your assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan your shift's appropriate services, programs, and activities.
* Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure the resident’s care plans are followed.
* Participate in developing, maintaining, and implementing the facility’s quality assurance program.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education
* Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate from an approved school of professional nursing.
Experience
* A minimum of one year’s nursing experience required.
* Supervisory experience with Nursing Assistants.
