* **(ARC or AHA only accepted)**
* **BLS**
* **ACLS**
* **NRP (PREFERRED\\- MUST GET W/IN 6 MONTHS)**
* **FETAL MONITORING (PREFERRED\\- MUST GET W/IN 6 MONTHS)**
* **FLOATING REQ TO NURSERY \\& POSTPARTUM IF NEEDED**
* **TN LICENSE**
* **2 YEARS EXPERIENCE**

**EMR \\- CERNER**

**PATIENT RATIO \\- 2:1**

**Responsibilities**

* Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns.
* Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs during labor.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Assist in emergency situations and perform life\\-saving procedures.
* Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
* Educate patients and families on childbirth and postpartum care.
* Participate in continuous professional development and training.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
* Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
* Support a culture of growth and learning within the team.
* Evaluate and improve patient care processes and outcomes.
* Engage in performance reviews and feedback sessions for personal growth.

**Experience/Qualifications**

* Current RN license with specialization in labor and delivery.
* Minimum 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing.
* Proficiency in fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
* Strong ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
* Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
* Understanding of hospital policies and safety protocols.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records.
* Willingness to participate in performance reviews and feedback sessions.
