**Why You’ll Love This Role:**
As an Emergency Department RN, you’ll be at the heart of providing compassionate, high\\-quality nursing to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and play a vital role in patient advocacy, education, and care coordination.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Deliver expert emergency nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
* Support patients and families with empathy, education, and clear communication.
* Respond swiftly and calmly to emergent and critical situations.
* Triage patients efficiently and accurately.
* Document care thoroughly and thoughtfully.
* Serve as a mentor and preceptor for new team members and students.
* Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless, patient\\-centered care.
**What We’re Looking For:**
**RN License:** Current or compact state license (Iowa).
**Experience:** One year of RN experience preferred. New grads welcome if you’ve completed a senior preceptorship in our ED or have relevant emergency/EMS experience.
**Certifications:**
* Mandatory Reporter training (within 3 months of hire)
* BLS (within 6 weeks)
* ACLS (within 6 months)
* TNCC (within 1 year)
* PALS (within 3 months)
