Job Details:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a subject matter expert within the department, providing clinical guidance, participating in work groups, and driving company initiatives. This role ensures that nursing documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with specialty drug insurance requirements, the Medicare HIT program, and applicable regulatory standards. The RN will collaborate with interdepartmental and cross\\-functional committees to advocate for nursing’s role in delivering high\\-quality patient care. Clinical responsibilities may include review and oversight of cases involving critical cardiac care, chemotherapy, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and enteral nutrition. In addition, the RN will monitor key quality metrics, conduct audits, and implement quality control measures to optimize patient outcomes and maintain compliance. This position is an integral part of the admissions team and reports directly to the Vice President of Admissions.
Responsibilities* Maintain productive, collaborative relationships with partners, interdepartmental managers, and others in leadership roles to achieve short and long\\-term goals for related programs and patient services.
* Ongoing review of standards, CMS guidelines and insurance requirements to create and update processes to ensure compliance.
* Engaged in the Medicare HIT program ensuring compliance with ACHC standards, insurance guidelines and expectations to qualify patients for Specialty HIT including the following but not limited to list: 5 Fu; IgG; Ocrevus; Infliximab; Entyvio; Nulojix; Rituximab; Skyrizi
* Review policies and procedures, ensure they support standards, accreditation organization guidelines and state regulations.
* Answer routine questions regarding company policies, operations, and procedures.
* Demonstrate support and willingness to help sales representatives as needed.
* Carry out all job responsibilities according to the company’s core values and provide quality, comprehensive services to all customers through a team approach.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills
* Ability to assume a flexible work schedule
* Home infusion/home health care experience, preferred
* Strong critical thinking ability
* Ability to analyze complex processes and scenarios
* + Home infusion experience preferred.
* + Completion of accredited school of professional nursing is required
* + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
* + Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required
