### **Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate **Registered Nurse (RN)** to join the team at a nursing home in **Newport, VT** on a 9\\-week contract. This overnight role provides the opportunity to deliver high\\-quality patient care in a supportive, long\\-term care environment.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and documentation.
* Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the healthcare team.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans.
* Ensure compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
* Support residents’ safety, comfort, and overall well\\-being during overnight hours.
### **Qualifications:**
* Active RN license in the state of Vermont (or compact license eligible).
* Previous experience in a long\\-term care or nursing home setting preferred.
* Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team during overnight shifts.
