Join our dynamic and collaborative **Cardiac Step\\-Down Unit**, a 34\\-bed progressive care environment specializing in the care of patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Our team provides high\\-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast\\-paced, supportive setting.

**Primary Patient Population (60%):**

* Cardiac procedural patients (e.g., cardiac catheterization, echocardiograms)
* Pre\\-operative and post\\-operative cardiac surgical patients
* Progressive care/step\\-down level monitoring and interventions

**Secondary Patient Population (40%):**

* Cardiology and pulmonology patients
* General medical/surgical patients requiring intermediate care

**Responsibilities:**

* Deliver safe, evidence\\-based nursing care to cardiac and higher acuity patients in the critical care area
* Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
* Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit\\-based projects

**Qualifications:**

* Current RN license in the state of GA
* Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
