We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Registered Nurse (RN)** with a strong background in **behavioral health** and **mental health** to join our growing team. **Key Responsibilities:**



* Assist in the initial intake and discharge planning for patients.
* Deliver exceptional nursing care to individuals with mental health and behavioral health needs.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
* Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
* Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
* Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
* Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

**Qualifications:**



* Current and unrestricted **Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of FLORIDA.**
* **2\\+ years of experience** in behavioral health or mental health nursing.
* Strong understanding of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team\\-oriented environment.
* Empathy, patience, and a commitment to patient\\-centered care.

**Preferred Experience:**



* Experience in crisis intervention or working with individuals in recovery.
* Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (KIPU).
* Certification in Psychiatric\\-Mental Health Nursing (PMHN) is a plus.
