**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide timely and effective responses to medical emergencies, including performing CPR until relieved.
* Administer medications and accurately document in the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
* Conduct patient assessments, perform histories and physicals, and refer to appropriate healthcare providers as needed.
* Assist Physicians during patient examinations and implement treatment orders.
* Educate patients and correctional staff on healthcare practices and safety protocols.
* Collect specimens and samples as directed by Physician orders.
* Maintain compliance with infection control practices, including Universal Precautions, and adhere to safety and security regulations for controlled medications, keys, and sharps.
* Perform venipuncture and IV therapy.
* Actively participate in disaster drills and follow all established security and safety protocols.
* Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
**Key Qualifications**
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
* Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
* Active CPR certification required.
* Knowledgeable about state laws and regulations governing nursing practice.
* Completion of clinical competencies (initial and annual) as per role requirements.
