📝 Description: **SCADD** is currently seeking a compassionate **Part Time (32 Hours days) Registered Nurse,** to provide nursing oversight to clients that are seeking medically monitored withdrawal services at our New London Withdrawal Management facility.

**Schedule: 32 hours a week: 4pm \\- 12am.**

We currently have an exceptional career opportunity for a 32\\-hour a week Full Time Registered Nurse to join our team in New London, Ct at Withdrawal Management Program. The position includes every other weekend and holiday.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include but are not limited to the following:

* Perform initial nursing assessments of clients and document ongoing assessments of clients that are response to treatment.
* Perform admissions of clients.
* Develop, implement, record, and evaluate nursing care plans according to age and specific needs of clients.
* Participate in or supervise the nursing care of clients, providing direct physical care measures as needed.
* Act as a primary nurse working with individual clients and coordinating their treatment.
* Execute the medical regimen of care as prescribed by the physician.
* Educate the client and family toward an understanding of health and illness and the plans for post\\-discharge care.
* Respond to medical and psychiatric emergency needs of clients.

**Job Requirements:**

* Current State of Connecticut \\- Department of Public Health Registered Nurse License (RN)
* CPR certification.
* Computer Literate
* Experience in behavioral health / substance abuse field preferred.
