*This posting will be used to fill a part\\-time position (0\\.8 FTE) with a rotating schedule. Scheduled hours include every other weekend and some holiday shifts.*Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking qualified and enthusiastic individuals to join our Health Services team at the Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) in St. Peter.
As a Registered Nurse with MSOP you will provide direct professional nursing care to clients in a therapeutic environment where safety and security are at the forefront of all campus activities. MSOP serves people who are court ordered to receive sex offender treatment via the civil commitment process.
Primary Responsibilities Include:* Performing duties such as medication and treatment administration, assessing client needs, and planning and implementing client\\-specific nursing care plans that assist the client in developing healthy independent living and coping skills.
* Working as part of team providing clients with comprehensive treatment which includes completing health assessment reports, participating in review meetings, and providing pertinent information to members of the treatment team as required to support overall client health.
* Following and enforcing all security, safety and legal requirements to ensure a safe and secure facility so clients receive quality professional services in a therapeutic environment.
* Serving as a positive role model to clients to demonstrate effective professional and personal behavior.

### **Minimum Qualifications**
To be considered, applicants must meet the qualifications below:
* Be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota
\\*\\*Future Registered Nurses who are within six (6\\) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX\\-RN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX\\-RN.
### **Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* Experience with persons within a mental health or behavioral health setting.
