š Description: **Meadow Wind** located in **Massillon, Ohio** is seeking a dedicated **RN Unit Manager / QA Nurse** to join our leadership team. This hybrid role combines the essential responsibilities of an RN Unit Manager with Quality Assurance duties, including infection control, investigations, and wound management. The RN Unit Manager / QA Nurse will ensure the delivery of high\\-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and support for the nursing department.
**Quality Assurance \\& Compliance**
* Assist with investigations related to resident care concerns or incidents
* Oversee and implement infection control practices across the unit
* Conduct audits and monitor clinical documentation for compliance
* Participate in wound care management and oversight
* Educate and guide staff on QA protocols, policies, and best practices
* Report findings and collaborate with the DON/ADON to improve outcomes
**Unit Management Duties**
* Supervise day\\-to\\-day nursing operations on a skilled unit
* Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed
* Support and mentor nursing staff to maintain high standards of care
* Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care
* Conduct physician rounds and provide direct resident care when necessary
* Participate in the on\\-call rotation with other nurse managers
* Ensure appropriate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment
### **Qualifications**
* Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Ohio
* Minimum 5 years of experience in long\\-term care
* At least 2 years of supervisory or QA experience preferred
* Knowledge of infection control practices, wound management, and regulatory requirements
* Strong leadership, organizational, and critical thinking skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively with residents, families, staff, and outside agencies
* PointClickCare experience a plus
