**Job Overview:**



AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking experienced **Medical\\-Surgical Registered Nurses (RN)** to provide comprehensive patient care in an acute care setting. The RN will monitor patient conditions, administer medications, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure high\\-quality patient outcomes.



**Key Responsibilities:**



* Deliver direct patient care following established treatment plans.
* Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood transfusions.
* Monitor and document patient vitals and treatment responses.
* Assist physicians in procedures and patient assessments.
* Educate patients and families on post\\-discharge care.
* Follow infection control and safety protocols.

**Qualifications:**



* **License:** Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or U.S. territories.
* **Certifications:**

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
* + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred
* **Experience:**

+ Minimum three (3\\) years of experience in a Medical\\-Surgical unit within the last five years.
* + Experience with electronic health records (EHR), preferably MHS GENESIS.
* **Other:** Ability to work rotational 12\\-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
