**Work location:** Texas Health Dallas 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231


**Work hours:** Full Time/Evenings (11A\\-11P) 36 hrs/week; weekend and holiday requirements

* Fast\\-paced, high\\-volume department averaging 200 patients per day
**Here’s What You Need:**


* Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program required


* 6 months in an acute care hospital setting or completion of THR residency program required


* LVN – Licensed Vocational Nursing upon hire required and


* BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and


* NRP – Essential Neonatal resuscitation Program within 90 days required and


* CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required


* A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast\\-paced environment.





**What You Will Do:**


* Collaborates with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information.


* Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks.


* Collects data and reports significant findings to RN.


* Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines.


* Uses nursing models to obtain adequate data to initiate, implement, and revise plans of care to meet patient, physician, and family needs.
