Licensed Practical Nurse - Per-Diem Day at Thrive Behavioral Hospital

📝 Description: We are seeking Per\\-Diem day shift **Licensed Practical Nurses** to provide in\\-patient care to adolescent and adult patients who are undergoing psychiatric care.

**LPN Responsibilities:**


* Complete comprehensive nursing assessments for patients/residents in the facility
* Document patient information and nursing care
* Delegate staff assignments based on patient needs
* Accurately administer medication to patients
* Utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies
* Document the treatment plan, nursing interventions, and the patient's response to the intervention
* Provide education to patients and families based on their needs


**LPN Qualifications:**


* High School Diploma or GED required
* Current unencumbered LPN licensed by the Nevada State Board of Nursing
* Knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures

**Additional Requirements:**


* Timely renewal of licensure
* Current and timely renewal of CPR certification for healthcare professionals
* Annual professional CPI certification – training and certification provided by Thrive Behavioral Hospital


**Schedule:**


* Must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month, including 1 weekend shift
* Must work 2 holiday shifts per year
* Shift hours: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
* Pay differentials are applied to the following shifts:
+ $4\\.00/hour \\- Weekend days (Saturday \\& Sunday)
