Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking full-time New Grad RNs in our Med Surg RN Residencyat Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A New Graduate Nurse is either a current nursing student nearing graduation from an RN program or a recent graduate with less than six months of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Position Highlights
Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 for qualified candidates!
10 Ardmore Eastis a 16-bed medical unit, where patients are usually admitted from the ED or step down from the ICU. The unit aims to prepare patients for discharge or continue care as needed. The team includes Interns, Residents, Medical Students, and Attending Physicians.
Shift: Full TimeNights, 7p-7a

Job Summary
The New Graduate Nurse provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). They lead and direct other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice.
What You'll Need
Less than 6 months of RN experience
Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
