**POSITION PURPOSE:**
* Chief Nursing Officer resumes responsibility for the health of each resident and the coordination of services to provide the appropriate level of care as determined through the assessment process
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**
* Current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Illinois
* Degreed as a registered nurse from accredited nursing program
* CPR and First Aid training
**Skills and Abilities:**
* Ability to take call after hours and on weekends and maintains a chain of command
* Maintains quality assurance and implements plans for improvement
* Present a professional appearance
* Ability to understand and follow through with directions given related to patient care
**PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION**:
* Position has full access to Protected Health Information of residents
**Proficiency or Productivity Standards:**
* Organize and prioritize tasks and projects
* Accurately complete job responsibilities within the specified time constraints to meet the needs of residents, regulatory standards and customer satisfaction
**Physical Requirements:**
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Ability to speak, hear, and read English
* Ability to discern temperature, texture, size, and shape
