**Director of Nursing (DON) – Advanced Health Care of Overland Park**

We’re seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced **Director of Nursing (DON)** to lead our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance. ### **Key Responsibilities**
* Provide overall leadership and management of nursing operations and clinical services.
* Ensure consistent delivery of high\\-quality, person\\-centered care.
* Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff to promote engagement and excellence.
* Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain survey readiness.
* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident recovery and outcomes.
* Monitor clinical systems, infection control, and quality assurance programs
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to foster trust and satisfaction.
Requirements:
**Qualifications**
* Current **Registered Nurse (RN) license** in the State of Kansas (required).
* Minimum **3–5 years of nursing leadership experience** in a skilled nursing or post\\-acute setting.
* Strong knowledge of **state and federal regulations**, clinical documentation, and quality measures
* Proven ability to lead, inspire, and build a cohesive nursing team.
* Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
