**Job Overview:**
The System Manager for DCARE will play a critical role in overseeing patient flow and system wide capacity to ensure safe, timely and efficient access to care. This Nurse Manager is responsible for direct oversight of key roles within the Command Center and capacity management team including patient placement nurses, transfer center nurses, clinical expeditors and Assistant Director of Campus Operations (ADCOs). This leader will partner with clinical and non\\-clinical leaders across the System to ensure effective throughput and optimal use of resources.
As a key point of contact, this leader plays an important role in maintaining patient safety, improving patient experience and overall System efficiency.
**Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:**
* Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state
* Bachelors Degree in Nursing
**Preferred Certification/License/Experience:**
* Advanced degree preferred (Nursing or Health Administration)
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in nurse leadership, operations management, capacity planning, or throughput optimization preferred.
* Experience in managing cross\\-functional teams and leading process improvement initiatives.
* Experience with building relationships, communication skills and effective change management
