**Position Summary:**
The IMC is a 14\\-bed unit that provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Supervises nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and ensures safe, quality care. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Education:
* Associate’s degree **required**
* Bachelor’s degree **preferred**
Certifications:
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required one month from hire date
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required six months from hire date
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required six months from hire date
License:
* Registered Nurse licensed to work in the state of Kentucky
