**Department/Unit Summary**

Supervises and supports nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing based on availability, skill level, and patient needs. Provides direct patient care and may take patient assignments as necessary. Assists with problem\\-solving, oversees care quality, and addresses concerns through proper channels. Performs clinical duties such as admissions, discharges, and transfers, while ensuring resources are available for safe, effective care. Promotes evidence\\-based practices and fosters a professional, growth\\-oriented environment.

**Qualifications and requirements**

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate̢۪s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

̢ۢ BLS certification is required.

̢ۢ Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
