**Job Summary**

The State of Minnesota's Health Professionals Services Program (HPSP) is a program of the Minnesota Health Licensing Boards that protects the public by providing monitoring services to regulated health professionals who have illnesses that may impact their ability to practice. HPSP has an opening for a State Program Administrator Principal (Case Manager). HPSP's primary responsibilities include providing health professionals with intake procedures and assessment services to determine whether the health professional has an illness that warrants monitoring; creating and implementing monitoring contracts; and providing ongoing monitoring services. Occasional travel is required for outreach to stakeholders.


This position is eligible for a hybrid telework arrangement. With a telework arrangement, onsite attendance will be required for team members or as requested by management to meet business needs. Completion of a telework agreement will be required. Please review the Telework Policy for details.


**Qualifications**
------------------

### **Minimum Qualifications**


To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.* Three years of professional experience working with individuals with substance use, psychiatric disorders, or medical conditions. A bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience.
* Skills in crisis intervention, mediation, and clinical consultation.
* Ability to make determinations regarding appropriate practice settings, and or practice limitations for healthcare professionals to ensure public safety.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in technology, electronic health records systems, databases, software applications, and other reporting tools.
* English language skills sufficient to communicate effectively with internal and external customers; to prepare correspondence and reports, and other required documents.

### **Preferred Qualifications**

* Licensure in the State of Minnesota as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Social Work (LSW, LGSW, LICSW), a Registered Nurse (RN), a Counselor (LPC, LPCC), a Psychologist (LP), or other health license.
* Master's degree in behavioral health\\-related field (e.g., addiction studies, psychology, nursing, social work, counseling).
* Knowledge of current trends and research in the field of alternatives to discipline programs for health professionals.
