**This position will be responsible for supervising Advanced Practice Registered Nurses in the Women’s Health and Sexual Health and Wellness Center(s). This includes overseeing evidence\\-based practice and clinical guidelines, as well as performance evaluations and chart audits. Additionally, this position will provide direct patient care in the Reproductive Health and Wellness (Title X) Programs at CPH. Scope of practice will include reproductive health and sexual health for men and women.** **Pay Range****:****$33\\.03 to $49\\.54 per hour** **Preferred Qualifications****:*** **Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).**
* **Experience with reproductive health and LARCs/long\\-acting methods of contraception.**
* **The ability to see up to 4 patient encounters per hour.**
* **Minimum of 3 years APRN practice preferred.**


Under general direction, is responsible for supervising clinical staff in the provision of patient care, including advance practice nursing care; performs related duties as required.
**Examples of Work**

Supervises Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and other professional and support staff, which includes completing performance evaluations, initiating discipline or other corrective actions, and approving leave requests;


Ensures departmental policies, procedures, and protocols, evidence\\-based practice, and national guidelines are followed;


Participates in selection of new employees and new employee orientation/preceptorship;


Conducts staff meetings with employees, coordinates employee training, provides coaching/mentoring;


Delivers direct patient care and treatment on an individualized need according to federal guidelines and other nationally recognized standards of care, including appropriate documentation and compliant coding;


Assists other managers and collaborates with contractors regarding patient care, program development, and administration; may refer complicated cases for additional medical oversight;


May communicate with patients who have limited English language skills;

May be assigned to serve as a member of an Incident Command System (ICS) Team, or a similar public health response team which may include the conduct of operations on a 24/7 basis at remote locations. May serve as a department and/or community incident commander or on the incident command team.
**Minimum Qualifications**
--------------------------


Two (2\\) years of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).

Possession of a valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license from the Ohio Board of Nursing to practice nursing as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (APRN\\-CRNA), Clinical Nurse Specialist (APRN\\-CNS), Certified Nurse\\-Midwife (APRN\\-CNM), OR Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN\\-CNP).

Some positions may require possession of a valid driver’s license.
